Tyson is a cyclops and a son of Poseidon. While he is not a demigod, he resides with his half-brother Percy at Camp Half-blood. Percy and Tyson are friends, but many of the other demigods at camp taunted him for his uncouth, simple nature. Subsequently, he communicates with Percy chiefly through Iris's rainbow network, Iris Message.
