your body NEEDS iron to survive. it needs it to make red blood cells to carry oxygen to the brain.
nias anemia is already so so bad, it’s so bad that he can’t even get enough oxygen when he runs. he’s passed out at practice from it and paramedics have had to get involved. and this is even WITH meat.

It’s literally safe for anemiacs to go vegan anyways, he can take vitamins and eat spinach to get iron. He doesn’t need meat
