It makes me so mad that it's now LEGAL to carry a CONCEALED GUN in PUBLIC even if you DO NOT HAVE A PERMIT.
And people are considering making marijuana legal not only for medical use, but for recreational use also!
Humans can't handle alcohol - many people have killed others with their drunk driving. But we think that somehow they can handle DRUGS? What if someone was driving while high and they strike and kill a CHILD?

But what about all of the people that will lie, steal, hurt, and even kill just to obtain those drugs? Once they're addicted, they can't get enough. It seems to me, at least, that the chances of someone getting hurt by a high person are much lower than the chances of getting hurt by a desperate drug addict with no drugs.

Welp.
Found out that my mom shares a birthday with Idina Menzel, Jared Gilmore, Jake Short, AND Sean Giambrone.
My sister shares a birthday with Marie Curie and Lorde.
My dad shares a birthday with PewDiePie and Drake.
My learning coach (H) shares a birthday with John Lennon and Pete Docter (director of Inside Out).
And I share a birthday with George Clooney and Alan Dale.
And that's only the celebrities we share b-days with that I've HEARD of!

Oh wow
So I'm interested in astrology, right? And I'm looking at an astrology website that tells me in-depth things about the different star signs and such. I'm taking detailed notes on each one when I find my sister's - Scorpio.
Each star sign "rules" a particular part of the body - Aries' is the head and shoulders, Taurus' is the neck and throat, and so on. I find out that Scorpio rules over the genitals.
I kind of snort, like, "What the heck..?" But then I see that Scorpio See More governs over sex, death, and money. I'm like, "Okay..." Apparently, Scorpio is associated with power, death, rebirth, and the darkest thoughts in the deepest recesses of peoples' minds. Also, they possess an almost psychic ability to find weaknesses and use them.
And then what do I read?
I read that Scorpio negative traits include:
-seductive
-secretive
-and perverted
So by now I'm kind of grossed out and freaked out, especially when it notes that Scorpios "can be, in some cases, sadistic."
Keep in mind, my sister is 10.

Every Argument
Me: *arguing with my dad*
My dad: No, because *says lots of unreasonable things*
Me: But actually *starts to prove him wrong using logic and facts*
My dad: DON'T TALK BACK TO ME
Me: But you're just scared that I'll prove you wrong.
My dad: NO I AM NOT DO NOT TALK BACK TO ME See More
Me: But-
My dad: GO TO YOUR ROOM YOU ARE SO DISRESPECTFUL
Me: But you're actually wrong-
My dad: YOU WILL UNDERSTAND WHEN YOU'RE OLDER
Me: No I won't
My dad: DON'T TALK BACK I SAID GO TO YOUR ROOM
Me: *goes to my room*

This is me arguing with my mom. My dad is actually really smart and reasonable and open to discussion. Well, my mom's getting better, but really she just won't accept logic and facts -- especially if she grew up learning something else.

Imagine you're 15 years old and you get raped. Got it? Then you find out you're pregnant. The law states that you can't get an abortion, so you suffer instead for the next 40 weeks. When you finally give birth, it's the most painful thing you've ever experienced. Because you're a teenager, your baby is born with some internal deformities - his heart is not fully formed. You and your family have to spend a lot of money on operations, driving your family into debt. To make it even See More worse, you're now a 15 year old single mom. If you had a boyfriend before, he's left you now. As your kid gets older, you and your family have to pay for more operations, not to mention the extra food, toys, and clothing. The child gets bullied and teased at school because his mom is a teenager.
And all this could have been prevented if you were allowed to get an abortion.
Yeah, I know there's adoption, but would YOU want to go through the pain and suffering of childbirth when you were a teenager? There are serious health risks for your child if they're born to a teenage mom, not to mention the health risks for you!
R3post this if you are pro-choice.
NOTE: I only support abortion if there are health risks for the mother/child or if the mother got pregnant unwillingly. NOT if the mom got drunk and had sex with someone.

i agree with @Rebel_Fangirl i would go through it all. having a child has always been something i wanted, even if i got raped i would still go through with it. It's a human life and even if it does go wrong, i'm no gonna be a coward and go to abortion, no way! i couldn't live with myself if i knew i was a murderer

I can see all of this happening to myself... Pretty much because I have a way overactive imagination in which all of the most tragic things happen to me and/or my family (don't ask why I have no clue). I would not get an abortion, nor would I want one. I think that one of the worst parts would be being pregnant and having to keep going to school and face the See More humiliation. Still, I would see it as wrong to get an abortion. I can and will suffer through whatever for the sake of another human being, especially close family or friends.

Omg, epic fail today XD
So I'm going to see a play for a field trip with my virtual school, and as me and my learning coach (let's call her H) and I are going to the meeting spot, we approach an elevator. I'm kind of afraid of elevators, and I've read a few scary stories about elevators breaking, so I was nervous, but in a playful way.
Me: "Oh, ha, elevators! I'm kinda scared to ride them!"
H: "Haha, why?"
Now, keep in mind, H is quite overweight.
Without thinking, I blurted See More this out:
"Because I'm scared the cables are going to break!"
Nice going, Maggie. Nice. She hasn't said anything about it to me, and I don't know if she even thought I was insulting her (I WAS NOT) , but that was definitely an awkward moment.
