Okay, just some clarification:
When I'm therapisting, don't expect me to sugar coat anything or beat around the bush. I'm going to tell it how it is and tell it straight. If you want to talk to someone else, that's okay, but they might do the same. Thing is, I'm not harsh nor cruel, nor am I trying to justify what I say by calling it brute honesty. I'm trying to help. I must rant.
I get called "cocky", "arrogant", and "prideful" a lot, because, let's face it, I love myself. I'm not perfect but I find confidence, not hubris, within myself. I have hope as high as the sky and farther and just because I won't stoop down to kiss your feet, doesn't mean I'm prideful. I don't do demeaning dances, listen to demeaning songs/people, and I have enough wisdom to know what's the good route and what's the bad. Yeah, I can admit it, I can be an idiot, a short See More tempered one, but I know my place. Again, just because you have pride and won't talk down on yourself does not mean you are arrogant.
