Controlling darkness allows mass stealth operations to be done efficiency, without anyone noticing...though othet powers I am unaware of may also come with each...I chose light, but debate whether darkness would be better. I like your perspective on this because really you could go on and on about what you could do with both light and darkness and it's true that while light may seem like it's a force for good but a person can just go on a rampage, burning things to the ground or even just murdering people. all while a person controlling darkness is in lets See More▼ the military and they're using their power to fight for their country but just because they use the power of the darkness people will think they are going to use it for evil because the power of darkness is often used for villains rather then heroes.
Well, for me I was thinking Of stuff for darkness like: the ability to teleport in the darkness, maybe manipulating the dark to make armor or weapons or dark tendrils to attack, maybe both have the power to blind people with extreme light or for darkness forming darkness right in front of the so they only they can't see, maybe even create creatures or beings See More▼ out of darkness to fight for you, or maybe if you really think about it since there is there pure darkness inside every animal and so you can control it so that you could just hardens or you could just manipulate the dark in them and make dark spikes come out of them to kill them or you could use that darkness to control the animal or human like a puppet, you could also use the darkness to control fresh corpses even, and maybe with both you can create wings made of pure light or darkness. I would also like to know why you chose light if you don't mind telling me.
Interesting... There are indeed many possibilities to both sides of the equation. Though you could go on for hours on what yours may do, it is merely perspective on what the power may have. I chose light for a multitude of reasons. I first thought of light speed travel, I could visit the stars if I wanted to, I due time anyways. I like the sounds of the darkness's powers, but those may only help you in your local area...though, what is the speed of darkness, shadows..? I may change my answer, I may not.
