What do you use to shade?
jarethgetspegged
I use a pretty easy marker technique
The markers I used here are Prismacolour markers— (Though I also use Touchfive)
I use the lightest shade first, making sure to apply enough ink so it doesn’t dry out. Then I add some of the darker colour, and quickly go over the place where the colours combine with the lighter shade again.

Something about me just can't draw big
Like, I'm a small drawer
I need to somehow be able to learn to draw bigger without making it look bad

Both
Also, I tend to draw reaLLy small details that just don't work for markers. Due to the smallness of some of the things I draw, the marker just bleeds around and mixes with the other colours or gets into the white space
I'm better with coloured pencils, mostly because I can sharpen them and they don't bleed

Ah
May I ask why you’re not good with markers? Is it because they bleed, or is it because of the thing when you’re colouring and it looks like you can see the lines where you coloured?
