After School

My sister said that she'd pick me up from the bus. When I got off the bus I had a cheese sandwich on my head and some cold Chinese Soup all over my tank top from Linda and her friends. When I looked at my bus stop I saw no shiny red car that belong to my seventeen year old sister who got her driving license a year ago. I walked home trying to hide my face from everyone but then I heard someone calling my name. I looked at a house and there was Toby. "oh, hi." I said as he ran down his driveway.
"so glad to see you, Nikki!" he said, with a smile.
"yeah you too." I said, as he began looking at how terrible I looked.
"oh, god. What happened to you? Need a shower? Mom won't mind you taking a night." Toby welcomed.
I nodded, and smiled. "jeez, thanks. It would good to get away from my parents for a day. They won't notice me. Just that they cannot abuse me." I said.
Toby nodded and laughed a bit. He ran with me up stairs. "this is the shower, and here are some of my  twenty year old sis's old clothes that she left here. You can have them." Toby said as he handed me the clothes.
There was a dark rose red dress with little dots on the bottom lace. I smiled. "thank you so much Toby. This really is a lot to me since I am treated like crap in my family." I thanked.
Toby nodded. "I'll be in my room if you need me or when you're done." he ran away into his room which he forgot to tell me where it was. But I am sure I'll find it soon enough.
