My Top Ten Favorite Sonic Games.

This is totally opinion based so don't get mad at me if I choose certain games.

#10: Sonic Unleashed.

#10: Sonic Unleashed.

I know this was top ten on my worst Sonic games but I like this game. This was my first WII Sonic game and when I saw the cutscenes I thought it was awesome. I thought the werehog form looked cool and it gave Sonic a new kind of gaming style depending on what time of day it was. In this game things were always interesting and never really got overly complicated.

The game's story is actually cool. It's where Eggman broke the planet into seven pieces (seven pieces, seven continents, seven emeralds...), and its up to Sonic and Chip/Light Gaia to put them back together using the powers of the chaos emeralds. The chaos emeralds can now do that to now. (they: Bring people back to life, turn your thoughts into power?, put the planet back together, change people to super form, repair space and time, give free wifi...well maybe not the last one but wouldn't that be cool?) I just find it somehow ridiculous that the chaos emeralds can do whatever they want without any plot around it. I actually made a theory that Knuckles might've been related to the bird creature in Sonic Unleashed.

As for the gameplay, I honestly felt more comfortable playing as Sonic Werehog for this reason. I was new to Sonic at the time and was still learning about him and all the game michanics. I found it much easier because it wasn't as fast but once I knew what I was doing the werehog form just became clunky and a little boring. For Sonic fans who are just getting into the series, I'd recommend this game because things don't really get overly challenging. Also you CANNOT just say that you don't want to sing to "Endless Possibilities".
