The start of the end

"WELCOME TO TOURNAMENT, OF THE CHOSEN ONE!" The announcer yelled yelled down his mic. The Colosseum was suddenly filled with the roar of a magnificent crowd! "NOW WELCOME OUR FIGHTERS, THE MASTERS OF POOOOWWWEERR!" Along the dusty sand floor were many man and women, all in their late or early twenties. "We have Josh, MASTER OF SMOKE!" The announcer yelled. Josh stepped forward and raised his hand and waved slightly, he was wearing his battle gear which consisted of a leather top with no sleeves, lined with silver on the stomach and some trousers, having knee pads which were titanium, his shoes where just normal trainers. "We have Sapphire, MASTER OF SPEED!" Sapphire stepped forward and smiled all over. She wore nearly the same gear as Josh, but her's had short sleeves. "Ben, MASTER OF EARTH!" Ben stepped right next to Josh, wearing the same battle gear as Sapphire. "Jackie, MASTER OF WATER!" Jackie came forward in between Sapphire and Josh, we was wearing the same gear as everyone else but with full sleeves. "CJ, MASTER OF AIR!" CJ stepped out next to Ben, wearing the same as Jackie. The announcer went on, but the ones who had been called out already began talking to one another.
"Josh, you seen some of the girls here?" Ben nudged Josh.
"F*ck off man" Josh laughed. "You're out of your zone man"
"He going on again?" Sapphire giggled.
"Typical" Jackie pouted.
CJ looked over at Jackie. "Someone's in a bad mood"
"Mrs serious over there, eh?" Josh remarked.
"Oh, shut it, will you?" Jackie snapped.
"Ohhhh! Cherpy" Sapphire laughed.
"Just because, unlike all of you, I want to win this and prove I'm the chosen one, doesn't mean you can pick on me" Jackie looked forward.
"Aye aye aye" Ben gave his head a shake. They all looked forward hearing the announcer finish.
"Alright, lets get the first fight prepared!" The announcer yelled. Everyone looked at a guy in a suit by a box. The man reached in and took out two small bits of paper.
He looked at both of them. "The first round will be...Jackie, master of water. Versus...Josh, master of smoke!"
Josh and Jackie both looked at each other as they stepped forward again, the announcer then yelled. "It seems the first fight is: JACKIE VERSUS JOSH!"
The other fighters went off and Sapphire whispered to CJ. "Jackie and Josh in the first round? The stage won't last that long" They both giggled and walked off.
Josh and Jackie where still having a stand down and the crowd was going nuts. "So, this should break the tie, miss chosen one" Josh mocked. Jackie remained frowning.
