THE NOTE
Dear Justin,I don’t even know where to start, and i’m not just saying that. I actually have writers block right now because I can’t think of the perfect words to start this note. I don’t want to write to you as if you’re an insanely talented superstar, I want to write to you as if you’re my friend. So here goes…
The other day, I said to my teacher that she has the same name as your mom and she is the same age, and a close height. She pointed out to me that it was an awkward relationship because I know so much about you and you know nothing about me. I realized that she was right and I decided that when I wrote this note, I would fix that. Here are some things that you should know about me:
My name is Cecelia, but everybody calls me Cece
I’m 13 years old
my favorite colors are purple and orangy pink
my favorite singer is you, but I also like Miley Cyrus and Ariana Grande
I’m 4 feet, 11 and 1/2 inches and I haven’t grown since last year… :(
I’m incredibly weird
I hate when a whiteboard is not fully erased. It drives me crazy.
My spanish teacher sends her love
I love singing and hope to do it professionally. Either Soul or R&B.
Three of my goals are to meet you before I turn 14, sing a duet with you and be the OLLG
I like a lot of food
I have a little brother named Newton
I wish that Jaxon was my little brother, too…

My science teacher thinks that I’m very effervescent
I model for Kyu Melange, which is a startup fashion company that my dad’s friend started
My dad thinks that I’m very literate

There we go, now this isn’t so strange. I invited you to my Bat Mitzvah as a friend, because you’re super talented and you seem like a lot of fun and you’re one of my favorite people.
I’m not sure if you know this, but you bought some stuff from my cousins store called Feltraiger. I thought that was cool and I tell everyone about that.
There’s something about the way you sing that when I’m listening to it by myself, sometimes I start crying, or I feel really happy. Your music is probably one of my favorite things in the world, and your story is so incredibly inspiring. You were a really adorable baby. I would have babysat you. Seriously. Oh, and I’m really sorry that your dream of becoming a crossing guard never came true… LOL.
Even if you don’t wind up coming to my bat mitzvah, I hope we meet sometime, and whenever we do, could we please sing a duet? That would be amazing…
