The meaning of life (1)
Chapter 2.

The first lesson.

And so, after 10 years of doing the same thing each day, whilst questioning the very life he was living, Rod finally became of age, and went to see the old man.

"Hello old man"

The old man remained silent.
But Rod was no fool, he knew he was testing him, and sat down until the old man was ready to speak with him.

After two hours the old man spoke: "The very first step of learning the truth begins with questioning the "truth" that you are aware of when you're born. That is the "truth" that society tells you".

Rod remained silent.

"The way, to be set free, to be aware of the one and only truth, is through knowing one self", said the old man.

"How do I do that?", asked Rod.

"By being on with reality and life. The greatest illusion of all is the one of separation. Once there is no lie, no separation, then can you see the truth."

"But what is reality?", asked Rod.

"Reality is what you think it is. The more you become one with reality, or, with yourself, the closer you get to know the truth. Your first task is to learn and understand nature. Understand the purpose of things", said the old man.

Maybe it's not a big deal, but the thing an author wants most is to have his/her work appreciated. So I thank you!

Meh, it's no big deal. I serious. It was good. The writing wasn't all that challenging, but the idea and concept is very complex, and I love it.
