The burned photograph

It's been a week since the incident happened with E.J, but just having the thought of it strangely made you feel safe and comforted.
It made you aware to close your window and lock it took make sure it doesn't happen again. Since you were almost in college, your mother trusted you to keep the house to yourself while she was away for a couple of weeks doing something for her job.
" Well, i'm going out the door (Y/N). You be good when i'm gone." You sat on the stool in the kitchen looking at her and her suitcase fidgeting with a fork," alright . . . I will." When she was just about to walk out the door, she snapped her finger at you making you jump and sit straight looking back at her," And one more thing, no boy's" She gave you the death glare, not like any of the other one's, this time she means it." Alright Mom, I know." you said getting up and giving her a hug goodbye," I love you (Y/N)", " I love you too."

After an hour or so, you started to get a little worried by staying home by yourself for a while.," Keep it together (Y/N), it's only for a couple of weeks." You started walking around the house looking for things to do. You decided to clean the house so you won't have any worries for doing any chores when your mother comes back.
Finally, sitting up from scrubbing the bathroom floor on your hands and knee's, you cleaned yourself up and dried your hair. Walking to the kitchen to find something in the fridge to nibble on, you took an apple. Walking over to the opposite side, you dropped your plate and apple on the ground making the plate break. You were scared straight to see a blue masked teenage boy dressed in all black with black goo like substance coming out of his eyes sitting on the counter in front of you. You didn't have a problem screaming and throwing a glass vase at him from the window shelf, But he dodged it. Trying to run away out of the kitchen while screaming, he grabbed you by the hips and slammed you on the ground making the air getting knocked out of you. You got a chance to tuck your feet under his stomach and kick him off of you, causing him to land on his back. You stumbled past him not making far from him, falling on the side of the desk noticing that he tripped you by grabbing your foot and causing your mouth to slam onto the corner and bust your lip.

Yelping in pain,You coughed a couple of times and made an attempt to get up you were knocked back down by the teenage boy pinning you down to the ground with one of his hands free to cover your mouth," Chill out (Y/N), it's me!!!" You looked at him not making any sudden movements," Ok (Y/N), I will let you go if you promise to keep your mouth shut and not say a  word." You slowly nodded your head. He got off of you and walked to the living room and went to the bookshelf," what Do you read?" He asked kind of quietly, you coughed and and got up off the floor rubbing the back of your head and getting an icepack for your lip, looking at him and the books,"Anything really. Just as long as I'm entertained." He grabbed a book and sat down on the couch." How did you get in the house?" He stopped reading and turned his head a little bit for you to know the answer. Sighed and walked to your room and was reminded about the window. You walked back in the living room to be shocked, He found your dads photograph that you have kept for year's," Jack . . . . E.J can I have that back." He looked at you, and flipped the photo to you. You carefully picked the photograph of your father up and put it back in a book." (Y/N), Who was that?", " My Dad" your eyes started to water up a little bit, but you blinked the tears away. " (Y/N), sorry about your lip." You looked at him while he was picking out another book," It's ok."
