Understanding
I shot out of mybed and into the air. Feeling a fire surround me I began to feel extra weight on my shoulders and my hair got longer and darker. Blue and white flames surrounded me burning off the illness that gripped me. My outfit began to change from my frilly night gown to black corset and tight leather pants. My hair swirled around me now red than twisted into a half up do then braided and twisted. The wings turned black with red streaks and my eyes burned. Smoke joined the fire around me and my sight grew sharper my ears heard my siblings yelling my name. Jacalyn reached out and Radcliff grabbed her arm pulling her back but not before she touched the flames. The flames shot out farther and they all backed up. I heard chanting in my ear though no one was speaking.
"The darkness spreads to heart and mind..." the voices said over and over as the fire spread growing stronger. Then it started to recede into my heart as the burning concentrated there.
"Lacee! Can you hear me?" Jacalyn yelled seeing the smoke go into my mouth. I started to come down from the air and I collapsed toward the ground but Radcliff caught me lowering me to the ground.
"Sabina go get someone for her to drink she needs fresh and human blood," he shouted and Sabina sprinted off while my mouth watered at the word.
"Radcliif, I'm scared,"I whispered.
"Shush its ok. Now open your eyes," he told me and when I opened them then Mabelle then jumped back. I froze.
