Chapter 2.

Two

Stephanie stood staring at the grave for at least 5 minutes, thinking about how this happened and why. "I'm so sorry, Aaron... I promise to kill whoever did this to you." She whispered, bending down and stroking the wet soil that hid her son's corpse.
Suddenly, there was a loud crack coming from the tree that loomed over Aaron's grave. Stephanie looked up, her eyes wide. There was a figure standing in the tree and it seemed to have wings. It wasn't a bird.
"Hello?" Stephanie whispered, standing up quickly and stepping back. The figure's wings spread out wide. They were like an angels'. Before Stephanie could say anything, the figure vanished and then suddenly reappeared. She gasped and was looking into the eyes of a demonic Angel.
She knew who this was.

"C-Calum??" Stephanie gasped.
"Thats my name. Hello..Stephanie." Calum smirked.
"I-I thought you died...back in 2010?"
"Yeah, I did, I still am dead. I'm just a guardian of this graveyard."
"Oh.."
Calum stared deep into Stephanie's eyes. "I know why you're here, Steph. Your son, Aaron, died last year didn't he? Apparently because of an accident at home where he..accidentally stabbed himself..am I right?"
Stephanie nodded, tears slowly appearing in her eyes. "Are you sure it wasn't...murder?" Calum smirked, pacing around Stephanie.
"What? It wasn't murder.."
"But you blame yourself right?"
"Yes...because I wasn't there to watch over him and make sure he was okay.." Stephanie sighed, staring at the cold, wet ground.
"Hm. Where were you when this happened?"
"Upstairs in my bedroom..."
"Doing what?"
"Reading a book.. I came running down and into the kitchen as soon as I heard him scream.."
"Really now?" Calum raised an eyebrow.
"Yes really.. Why are you asking me this? What are trying to do?"
Calum grabbed Stephanie firmly by the wrist and pulled her to his chest. He ran brushed a strand of hair over her ear, grinning oddly. "I'm trying to get the truth out of you, my sweet Steph. See the thing is..."
Calum's brown eyes were locked on Stephanie's. He slowly brought his lips to her ear and whispered,
"...you killed him. You killed your own son."
