A diary of a super normal teenager
Chapter 7.
Persausion

Persausion

I woke up late today so I had a quick breakfast and cycled to Xavier's (mom's) house. One of the housekeepers answered and led me to his room. He was strumming his guitar and humming along to a song. 'Hey Xavier.' I said sitting beside him. 'Hey Liz.' he said putting down his guitar. 'No!' I said thinking fast. 'What I um, meant to say is, um,' I muttered. 'You want to hear a song?' I nodded. 'Sure' he said lining up his hands. 'Wait,' I said. 'Only if you sing as well' I said trying to persuade him. He smiled. 'I have a deal, an offer if you will. I will sing and play,' I smiled 'If,' Oh no 'You play piano and rap or whatever along side me. I have a song written, but I don't have a rap if you don't mind,' 'I'll just freestyle!' I said cutting him off. I smiled. We hadn't properly sang together in years. I walked to the piano and searched through some of the the sheets beside the piano. 'What's the name?' I asked. He smiled. 'It's called can't deal.'

We went over the song for the first time. He wasn't pitchy, and my rhythm was fine, but it still needed some help. I wrote down my rap while he changed some of the song. Let's just say we had some 'creative difference'. He said he didn't want swearing so I said I didn't want Lovey Dovey stuff. After some persuasion, we compromised. Both our ideas were used but neither were overused. I'm not going to write the whole song here, simply because it's too long, but it did come along nicely in the end. I was there for about an hour then Xavier got a bit tired so I left.

When I got home I took my medicine, ate my lunch, then checked my phone. I saw Steph was online so I cycled to her house. Her house was farther than Xavier or Allison's house, but I had thick, strong thighs from running so it didn't make a difference. I knocked on the door and was greeted by her brother, Dante. Oh Dante. He had fair hair and hazel eyes. Every time I think of his beautiful-ness I get shivers down my spine. How is someone that good looking? I saw his chiseled jaw moving but I was too distracted to hear what he was saying. 'Pardon?' I said blushing from embarrassment. 'I said hey.' he smiled an angelic smile. 'Is um, Stephanie here?' I asked trying to be cool. 'Actually she's at a sleepover, Elizabeth.' I tried to be sad but just hearing him say my name made me grin. 'It's just a crush.' I kept telling myself as I cycled back. But I already knew I liked him. I hate to admit it but some days I visited Steph when I was younger, was so I could see Dante. Well Diary that is all for today!

Yeah but sometimes I make mistakes on purpose, to phrase it as an average teenage girl would.
