Dragon Princess

Chapter 2:

"Where are we going, oh powerful dragon?" Jade asked sarcastically.
“To the realm of the dragons, Queen Jade. It is the place where you were born, and where you grew up, even if you do not remember it. The island of the dragons is two, twin islands. One of which your mother and father have built their kingdom, and the other serves as my home. To the humans, it is known as the Bermuda Triangle, but they do not know of what lays beyond its wall of magic, for if they did we wouldn’t be able to let young dragons adventure out into the world as much.” The Great Dragon laughed a deep, reverberating laugh that shook the sky.
Then all of a sudden the sky darkened to an eerie obsidian black. Silence filled the air, suffocating all forms of life, until d of the wind as it pushed against the flame. As it came closer, they started to figure out what it wa: a flaming arrow. When the Great Dragon finally figured out what it was, the flame of terror was lit in his eyes. “My queens, you must jump.”
“What?!” Jade yelled as loud as utterly possible, grabbing everyone’s hands in a panic. “There’s no way I’m jumping! How safe would that—” Her sentence broke off as the dragon lurched to the side, causing all four girls to fall off and tumble through the sky. As the four of them plummeted to the Earth at lightning speed, the ground seemed to be growing larger by the millisecond.
