Reminiscence-Hermione

As I was dancing my life away with Viktor, I thought sadly  about Draco- he would never understand that I'd loved him all this time- and besides, what was I supposed to do but stick to being Viktor Krum's plaything for the rest of my life?? Once I came back to my senses, I realized I was all alone, without Viktor. I sighed to myself. I knew-and secretly hoped- he would do this. I quickly gathered up my bag(with all my textbooks in it) and headed towards the library.  I heard footsteps coming towards my table. I didn't look up as I knew it was either Ron or Harry coming to join me, or Neville doing some last minute homework before our exams. After a few seconds of silence, I heard a cough in front of the desk I was sitting at. I looked up. It was Draco, probably coming to torment me about the departure of Krum. Knowing my luck, everyone would have known by know. " Draco!What are you doing here?!Why aren't you with Crabbe and Goyle?" I asked. "I just wanted to talk to you because...well...I love you. I've loved you since our very first day at Hogwarts- Iv'e just never had the guts to say it." He smiled nervously. "Until now." I frowned. Wasn't that convenient? I rose up from the table before I could stop myself. "WHAT KIND OF CRUEL,SADISTIC JOKE IS THAT,YOU JERK?!" I yelled. I raised my fist to his face, then hesitated. What was I doing? "It wasn't a joke..." Draco said quietly. "Yeah, I understand that now," I said. "You know, Iv'e always hoped..." I moved a few steps closer to Draco. Always wondered..." I got even closer to him, nearly touching his face. "That you would like me because... Iv'e loved YOU from the start as well. You know, Draco, I never wanted to go to the Yule Ball with Viktor. I really wanted to go with...you." I took his face in my hands, and kissed him. His lips felt warm and hot all at the same time. I sensed good AND evil  inside of him. He wasn't as bad as I thought. I have no idea of how long we kissed for, but believe me, I never wanted to stop.



Unfortunately though, we were interrupted by an overly nasal voice behind us. "Draco,what is the meaning of this?!" Professor Snape snarled.
