Does my daughter have vocal tics?
Hi the reason I'm asking this question is because my daughter is constantly clearing her throat and making a kind of squeal it's gotten worse since she went to high school. I don't really want to point it out or take her to a docter but I think it's just a annoying habit.

You might want to see a doctor. Specially if you're really worried. If something with you child ever seems wrong or unusual about your child, you might want to see a doctor. The doctor knows what exactly is wrong.

My younger brother used to do this a lot and it was really annoying. He stopped for a while, but it always came back eventually. It turned out he had asthma. I'm not sure if it's the same for everyone, however.
