In the 80s they tried, but it kept smelling terrible and looked orange. They cancelled the McHotDog right away

Too fake. Mcdonalds cheese is more orange than Trump, hotdogs are already pretty artificial so a mcdonalds hotdog would be synthetic rubbery plastic.

Because it’s a hamburger restaurant,
although it also sells a few other things.
Plus, they probably think that either not many people would buy them, or that it’d be a waste of money.
