Okay I like this girl who's going to be in my school. And I like her. We've know each other since we were 7. But I'm friends with her cousin. And I don't know how he'll take it if we start dating.

Is her cousin really protective over her? Cause if he is, then I would suggest telling him about your feelings towards her before actually dating. That way, he would basically be getting a warning ahead of time, and I think that he would appreciate the fact that you had told him instead of him potentially finding out later. But, if he is not super protective over her, you should just be able to tell him and date her if that’s what you want to do.
