What is the book that made you cry?

What is the book that made you cry?

I remember when I read a novel that made me cry, with no music and other effects, just reading the words and it broke my heart and made me cry. I never thought books can get this close to my heart. What about you? Any book that ever moved something inside of you?

The Last Hope in the Warriors series. The main sad part was when Spottedleaf died. She does for the one she loved and it made me cry. This was the saddest part: Mapleshade: "Why would you let her live?! She stole Firestar's love from you!" Spottedleaf: "There was nothing to steal! She made Firestar happy!" (Yes, I am aware some of these words aren't correct. Too lazy to look up the exact words ;)) I just felt like her second death was so beautifully written.

It was an Arabic novel called "The End of a Brave Man" where the main character eventually loses his legs and gets poor but his wife stood by his side and helped him ... anyways he shoots a cop and then shoots himself and dies with "pride" instead of going to jail and his wife stays alone. :((:((
