Are fire balloons banned in the UK?
I didn't know chinese lanterns were banned. My friend told me cos they might start a fire they got made illegal. Is she just joking?

I don't think it's official, but there's a great awareness of their danger. There are restrictions and recommended alternatives, but I don't think they're "illegal" yet. It's mostly fire chiefs, farmers, and animal activists who are against them. I hope I have illuminated you on the subject! :P
