Why do people say LOL?
Really, your not laughing out loud! OMG is fine if it means Our Migrating Geese but really, lol? When your standing right next to someone? They can tell if your laughing you know!

because so that when someone says something not funny so they said that in texts but in real life you're not even laughing (sometimes)

I say "lol" if me and my friends are texting and having a really funny convo. Like the other day i was texting 1 of my friends telling her that this man at walmart walked to me and asked to text his wife and tell her he will be home soon off a homephone and we used "lol then but thats the only time i use it.
