Sometimes, it's important to think of yourself before you think of other people. If someone is being mean to you, then the best thing that you can do for yourself is ditch them.

I think you should keep them as a friend, but if they seem to be more mean than nice don't be friends with them. I think it's important to have friends that are nice, because you know they will support you. :)
