how do i stop my dog getting lonely, sad, depressed and crying when we go away?? (1)
when we all leave the house he crawls into a ball behind the door and stays there crying. how do we stop him getting lonely? please help me, i dont want him to be sad. :(

make sure to leave some of your belongings behind like something that smells like you and something he likes.
Before you go give him lots of cuddles and when you get back take him for a walk and maybe bring him a treat back.
he will soon reliese that when evr the owners are away they are getting him something nice.

Get another dog or get a petsitter and when u are in the car, take him with you. :)
I used to be a pet sitter. It works wonders on your lonely pet. If you have any good neighbours, friends of your parents or nearby relatives work just fine as pet sitters. Just needs to be someone you trust with a copy of your house key, or fence key. Try online too on baby sitter sites. Otherwise the TV works sometimes too.

Leave something at home that has your sent. You can also ask someone to come over to feed the dog and.... PLAY WITH HIM!! At least that's what I do for my dog when I go away...:)

turn the radio, tv and every musical thing on so he thinks there are others still home and he wont feel so bad
