How long is the average time in jail for theft?
My brother was arrested last night for theft ( a wallet left on a phone box containing fifty pounds) and I miss him, how long is the average time in jail for theft?

Thanks but he was guilty, he is 15 so he will be in for two months, we went to see him and that's why I haven't been on for a few days. :(

Depending on what you stole, 5 months for a little.
1 year, if you robbed and stole something like a Jewerly store.
and 5+ years are possible for armed robbery and theft.
