So because everything looks really good, my placenta moved, and my daughter is getting really big really quickly, my midwife thinks she will come earlier. Now that I have a gestational diabetes diagnosis, she will have to come earlier if I can’t regulate my sugar. If she stays in too long it has certain health risks.
She cautioned me to tell my husband to take off the last week of July…….😱 She can come any time between then and August 9th. August 9th is her officially official See More▼ due date.

Meadow is now 3 lbs 11 oz 🫣 and that is the size of a 32-33 week old. (I’m only 29w6d just FYI…)

Welp. I have gestational diabetes. 🫡 (gestational means only during pregnancy).
A 1 hr. glucose test is where they make you fast for 8-12 hours aside from protein and water, and you drink this 10oz of a sugar(glucose) solution in 2 minutes.
You sit there for an hour and then they do bloodwork to check your blood sugar.
I drank the solution in 40 seconds and I thought it tasted like red gatorade, but most girls hate it and says it makes them get sick. I knew this was a red See More▼ flag from the getgo.
I failed…By a lot. 🤣 so I definitely have gestational diabetes.
It makes sense because Meadow’s been getting big really quickly and I have felt extremely thirsty to the point where I can go through a pitcher of lemonade in 2-3 hours.
I’m supposed to take the 3 hr. Glucose test (drink an even more sugary drink), and get bloodwork every single hour for three hours, but you can’t even drink water or eat protein before that one and I don’t think it would be safe for me or Meadow to not eat for 16 hours. I’m going to see if they will just let me monitor my blood sugar at home. 🙃

I’m officially in my third trimester… 72 days until my due date but I’m sure I’ll be induced earlier once I tell them I want a c-section.

Me when I get harassed at taco bell so I make a post and leave a nasty review and his sister reaches out to me and says he did it bc he has bipolar and to please take my post down 😢 but I also have bipolar and havent been on my meds since I got pregnant so that was a lame excuse to use for someone who sexually harassed a very obvious married pregnant lady 🧍🏻♀️

OMG IDK IF U REMEMBER ME BUT?????? CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!! its so surreal bc weve all known each other since we were like 11-12, but its so beautiful and makes me look forward to my stages in life. ur gonna be the best mama ever!!!

Meadow is in the 87th percentile, which means she is probably going to be a BIG baby. She’s already 4-6 ounces bigger than what she’s supposed to be right now. They say it can be caused by rapid weight gain during pregnancy or gestational diabetes but I don’t have either. I actually lost 21 pounds my first trimester from sickness and haven’t gained it back.
My mom said my siblings and I were all in 99th percentile sooooo… Who knows. Meadow’s probably going to be around the weight See More▼ I was when I was born, which was 8lbs6oz.

The bigger the percentile the bigger the babies that age are. So Meadow is bigger than 87% of babies her gestational age. (27 weeks)

She’s been frequenting on my right side and kicking my pelvis and hip as much as she can and has almost completely thrown my back out. 😭 it hurts to walk and I’m bed bound 70% of the day now.
@RayneCloud turned out to be sciatic nerve pain. Getting better but still hurts to crawl in and out of bed and sitting down directly on it.

Welp. Two pounds, one ounce. Measuring ANOTHER week ahead which lands me at 26 weeks and four days. My new due date is August 3, 2024.

It was a beautiful ceremony regardless. I am so in love. It was chaotic because we were winging it, but we had fun. I cried during the vows and had to look away.
We got married at the same spot we went to on our first date. ❤️ and the same spot we had picnics, fished at, went stargazing, and frequent at as a couple. I loved letting our family come into our little world. And I was so happy our daughter could be a part of it too.

My family member (not immediate family) tried their very best to sabotage my day. 😒
Initially, three weeks ago, I sent them a group text with all the details of our “elopement”. They waited five and a half days to respond. This side of the family literally lives in my hometown, and FIVE MINUTES AWAY from the destination. Their spouse, also my family btw, didn’t respond to any of the details given. See More▼ They also had my uncle, who couldn’t make it, respond for them.
The other side of that particular “kind” of family, messaged me back within the next HOUR…THEY LIVE TEN HOURS AWAY IN NORTHERN LP MICHIGAN. I LIVE IN CENTRAL KY.
They also texted me an hour and a half before we met up to lead people to the spot asking if their brother, who I haven’t seen since I was 17, to come. I had told them specifically NO PLUS ONES. They then proceeded to hand me $10 from him at the ceremony and said “he wanted to give it to you himself but you wouldn’t let him come,”….BRUH. I wanted to say, “what’s that gonna do, buy us a tv dinner?” I held my tongue…
I also told them not to tell anyone and they announced it to their church, and a friend’s grandma found out and told said friend before I even got married. 😑 I was so, so pissed. I held my tongue again.
When we got to the spot, a beautiful part of the lake, I approached them and they walked away from me. They refused to congregate with my husband’s side of the family. Held my tongue. I already ran my mouth about them to them, they were very aware and on high alert about their shenanigans.
We spent $300 on a photographer for two hours and this person hid behind us in all the family pictures. You know dang well they did that so they could claim we didn’t want them there. Also their spouse YANKED my veil in one of the pictures and in the group picture with them, my other parent’s side, and my husband’s side, I look absolutely pissed. I was ready to push them into the lake… I didn’t ask for a do over. I regret that after seeing the picture… Held my tongue.

Family member I just wrote those complains about decided to order a margarita and manipulated another family member into drinking with them. Other family member literally said NO I do not want to drink and they literally ignored them. I turned around and said “if the bride can’t even drink, what makes you think that’s an okay way to celebrate OUR day?” Because See More▼ I’m pregnant. Said family member’s spouse turns to me and says, “that’s YOUR fault.” Again, WHAT??? My husband doesn’t even believe in that stuff…So why would you even think to do that. It’s ONE DAY…OUR DAY. Poor manipulated family member only had two sips of their drink with their WHOLE meal… MOSTLY held my tongue, but kept the peace for everyone’s sake.
So yeah. Probably never going to talk to that person again tbh. When they wonder why I won’t let them in my daughter’s life, I will release the hounds and go completely nuts on exactly why.

After the ceremony, we went to the restaurant we frequently eat at as a couple to celebrate. Our thinking was, in a way we were letting our families come together to be apart of our life. Only my family was able to make it because of elders on his side needing to be home, and I’m so glad that happened… keep in mind when I say this, his family is old fashioned See More▼ baptist.
