(Chapter 1) I hate you allMy ears flicked as I hear the soft patter of Nurse Winter approaching my room. I then hear the door open slightly. "Jackie?" I heard Nurse Winter's soft voice. "What?" I said rather harshly. "Happy 19th Birthday." she said as she walked in and softly closed the door behind her. I growled. "No, it's not a "Happy Birthday" it's a "Happy day you arrived at this prison." I spat. "It's not a prison Jackie." Nurse Winter said. "Oh really. I don't see the difference. I can't leave this room with having to be put in a straight jacket or being tackled down. I have to eat this stupid f***ing slop! THERE IS NO F***ING DIFFRINCE WINTER! NO F***ING DIFFRENCE" I stood up and marched up to her. I pulled off my blindfold, the bright light in the room blind me for a minute. I could see her start to tremble. I let out a low growl. "You know what Winter? I hate everyone and everything here. Hell I even hate me f***ing self for being here." I shrugged and quickly dropped my arms to my side. "But I want you to tell me something Winter." She gulped and I crossed my arms. "Why are you scared of me? Couldn't you easily over-power me? I mean I'm only what is it now oh 19...I'm only 19 and how old are you? Hold on let me guess! Probably 35." I said. "Why are you so f***ing scared of me?" I asked. She looked at me, unable to say anything. "Leave." I growled. "You have to take you medicine first" she said. "Fine" I growled and grabbed the pills and glass of water from her, quickly taking my medicine. "Now leave" I said. She quickly left and then the room was filled with silence again.
I layed on the floor. I hiccupped again and let my eyes close. I took in deep and shaky breathes, slowly falling asleep.
