We go in, double trouble!I step out of the car. Emma comes right behind. She closes the door and we walk up to the school. High school, isn't she a beatuy? Nope. I haven't been here a minute and people are already punching, smoking, kissing. I grab Emma's wrist.
"Well, we aren't in middle school anymore. This school has smoking." She makes a face.
"I don't know about this. Call Mom, she can home school us." I start walking backwards, dragging Emma with me.
"Anna, we are NOT going home. Just because there are some stupid people, doesn't mean we will get hurt. Let's GO!" Emma drags me into the doors despite all of my effort. But then, it hits me. We are twins. We are pretty. We have nice clothes. We - urm- I am nice. We won't have any problems making friends. We go in, double trouble!
"Come on, we have 1st period in... Science." Emma says. I unclench my hand from her wrist and walk next to her. Girls who look like they haven't showered in days give us a look of envy. It may seem conceded, but I know why they envy us. Our parents are rich. I am not saying that we make billions, but we are almost up there. Our house is HUGE! I have lived there 14 years and I still get lost. Our parents make sure we have the nicest clothes we can get out hands on.
Emma and I are pretty. We both have brown hair that looks sorta like caramel was drizzled through it. Our blue eyes almost look like the ocean. We have tan skin and we are both short. Not saying that short is beautiful or isn't. We are identical.
We go into the classroom and I look at the faces. I see kids with zits, bruises, and some with heavy, black makeup.
I whisper to Emma, "What's with all of these kids with that makeup."
"Relax, it's a personality thing." Emma whispers back. She would wear makeup like that, if she was allowed to. I can feel it. Twinepathy.
"Ladies and gentlemen, take your seats!" The teacher at the front says.
