Prologue:Walls of solid wind slammed into the young kit’s face as he was carried away. Snowkit’s heart pounded in his chest. Tolons as sharp as thorn slowly dug deeper into his flesh. He let the air drain out of his throat, trying to call out to his mother. Where was everyone? He twisted, desperate to escape. He didn’t want to be Hawk-food!
Suddenly there was wave that shoot through them, the Hawk twisted into an unnatural position, staining it’s musulas. The talons then loosened and before he knew it, Snowkit was falling through the air. He stumbled at thin air, somehow trying to grab onto to something. The trees belows rapidly grew larger and larger as Snowkit got closer to crashing to the ground.
As he entered the tree line, branches slammed into the tiny kit. Pain shot through him like a blazing fire. Then a huge branch like a massive claw seem to rip him open from head to tip. Snowkit could only gasped as he finally fell to the ground.
He barely noticed the wind being forced out of his body though the storm of pain. Snowkit just laid there on the soft grass, dazed. He noticed he was now laying in the pool of his blood. His sight was soon clouded by darkness as he slowly faded away.
A bright light filled Snowkit’s vision. He felt around him but it wasn’t the soft grass anymore. His eyes shot open to a completely alien world. His body ached from ear to tail tip. Where was he?
Snowkit was laying on strange smooth silver stone, a hard clear object was latching onto his muzzle like a leach. His breathing was heavy and shallow, like he couldn’t control his own breathing… Fuzzy cream coloured paws shot out, trying to grab the young kit. Snowkit heart pounded.
Snowkit wriggled and twisted trying to get them off but his body was frozen with terror. Without warning, Snowkit felt a sharp pain in his back side. Snowkit’s scents soon dimmed and slipped into unconsciousness once more.
