Cold?It was another snowy day during the winter on Möbius. The sky was grey with clouds as snow fell down to the surface, covering the once grass and dirt covered earth with a blanket of cold, white, fluffy snow. As usual, Taylor's house was still chaotic with the Mobian formed dragons running around. They all seemed to quite like it, and for once Zircon liked it as well.
In fact, Zircon had been taking a walk outside as the snow fell from the sky, grazing his jacket and fur, leaving little flakes of white on it. He shivered slightly, but it was hardly noticeable at all. His ears were pushed back, and he stared at the ground with his arms crossed, until a certain Mobian girl came running up to him.
"Zircon!" She shouted causing the grumpy Mobian cat turned around to face her. He'd recognize that sea foam green fur anywhere, it was none other than his childhood friend Borealis.
"Borealis, hi." He said with a slight smile, something you'd rarely see run across his face.
"Hi," Borealis said with a smile, her purple eyes glinting warmly. She had on her usual blue parka, and under it was a sweatshirt, meanwhile she also wore a pair of black snow pants. "What're you doing outside so early?"
"Aren't you cold Zircon?"
"No not at all."
"Then why are you shivering?"
"I'm not shivering!"
"Then why do you have your arms crossed like that?"
"I'm not fricken-" he was cut off by Borealis wrapping her white and grey striped scarf around his neck, causing him to blush bright purple. It was surprisingly warm, just like Borealis' happy go lucky personality, and he found it quite comforting and he stopped shivering.
"There, feel warmer now?" She asked with a smile. Zircon could make out purple blush dusting Borealis' cheeks as well, but he covered his cheeks.
"Y-yeah..." He managed to stutter out. Borealis leaned up and kissed him on the cheek causing him to flinch and his golden eyes to widen.
"See you back home Zircon!" She said with a smile and ran back home, Zircon watching as she left.
"If only I could tell her how I actually feel..." Zircon muttered to himself, looked at the scarf, smiled, and continued on his walk.
