I've loved poetry for more than I can remember. Whenever I feel turned down, it's always been there for me. In my opinion, nothing is better than a mind overflowing with ideas that scream to be written down. Just keep in mind that some of these poems will probably be rants.

Light

She always relied on that
Light
Like the Sun
Like her Sun
Until he left
Until he changed his mind
What she doesn't know...
She has enough light.
She is strong on her own.
If she is falling,
Faltering,
Losing her light,
We are here
To help
To giver her the light she depends on

Until she's strong again.
