A Seemingly Normal DayCherry rummaged through her locker, looking for the science book for her next class. It had been a long morning and a sleepless night, and she was honestly in the mood to punch someone. She finally found the book and hastily slid it into her bag, and rushed out of the hallway.
Wolfy yawned and stretched."Almost time for lunch~"she hummed to herself. She had been rummaging through her locker for ages."Ok you stupid book of science where are you...?
Cherry stood outside the class, leaning against the wall and checking her phone. She scrolled through useless fashion posts and "reshare or die" crap when something caught her eye.
GOVERNMENT ANNOUNCEMENT: NEW DISEASE KNOWN TO KILL AND CORRUPT BRAIN HAS BEEN DISCOVERED. AIRBORNE AND MOVES QUICKLY. IF WARNED, STAY INSIDE AND SEAL WINDOWS. DO NOT APPROACH ANYONE DEEMED INFECTED.
Wolfy kinda sped walked down the hallway scrolling through her phone."Oh woah."She found an alert on her phone."Pfft.I bet this will pass over like the rest of these little things do.”
Cherry looked up and saw her friend Wolfy approaching. She waved and leaned back into the wall, pondering the message she saw. New disease...?
Wolfy looked from her phone and kinda tripped over something on the floor."Ughhhh.Tile floors are the worst."She groaned sitting up."Oh hey cherry."
Cherry laughed and walked over to help her friend up. "You're always tripping over stuff!" She stood back up and sighed. "Last night was awful. I stayed up all night having to finish this history project, and I just found out it isn't due for another week... "
Wolfy growled."Oh shush you."She perked up when cherry said the word 'project'."I mean you finished it you just got it out of the way."
Cherry rubbed her face with her hands and groaned. "I guess, but I'm so tired now." She felt a buzz in her pocket and opened her phone. It was one of her friends asking about the pillow she had borrowed. She was about to reply when someone grabbed her phone. Cherry looked up. Great. Miss Teller.
Wolfy looked up.She stifled a groan.
Miss Teller set Cherry's phone down on her desk, replying with "You can have it back after class" without looking up. Cherry facepalmed and reluctantly slid into her seat. Great. What else could go wrong today?
Wolfy quickly shoved her phone in her backpack hoping it won't ring. She waddled in after Cherry and side-eyed Mrs.Teller.
The class droned on for about half an hour when a message went over to speaker.
