The Day of The Investigation

The next day Kasumi was in math class sitting quietly while everyone was asking her questions. The news kept on going for a few more weeks. All Kasumi did is mind her own business. She even stopped patrolling because she had so much on her mind.

"Hey Kasumi, you in there?" said Daichi
Kasumi just turned.
"Hey you can't just ignore like that." said Daichi
She didn't say anything but just left when the bell ringed.
"Sorry got to go." said Kasumi quietly
After that, Daichi went on investigating. He first went to the newspaper club.
"Hey which one of you did the report on me and Kasumi!" said Daichi
Everyone just stared at each other.
"Oh I see now you guys are playing stupid. Cause if you don't tell me then I'm guessing I hear a complaint." said Daichi
"No no." said a girl
"It's just that.............."said the girl
"Yeah!" yelled Daichi
"Umm............" said the girl
" Oh come on, don't you get it just tell me and you won't be in trouble. Can't you see, your LIE just made Kasumi and I have the most miserable weeks ever!" yelled Daichi
While Daichi was saying that Kasumi was just passing by until she heard Daichi and just stood behind the door hearing everything and she was surprised.
"He's actually helping me." said Kasumi
"But why.............." said Kasumi crying
"I am so happy." said Kasumi.
"footsteps....."
Kasumi looked behind and saw a boy so she quickly hid.
"So you want to know who did it huh!" said the newspaper boy
"Well guess what! Its me." he said confidently
Kasumi was shocked.
"Why did you do it?" questioned Daichi
"Its all a lie!" said Daichi
"I know but to me its a great story." said the newspaper boy deviously
"Why you little...................." yelled Daichi
The others held him back.
"Let me go you punks!" said Daichi
"Oh my Daichi." said Kasumi
She barged in.
"LET HIM GO!" yelled Kasumi
"Hey look guys. Daichi's girlfriend is here." said the newspaper boy
"LET HIM GO I SAID AND I WON'T REPEAT!" said Kasumi with more anger
"Huh. Why should we. What you gonna do. I'm not scared of you because when everyone was all over you and hearing about the news, all you did is just ran like a baby." said the newspaper boy
"I know. I was pathetic but Daichi showed me how I'm not." she said with a smile
"Ooh love going on." said the newspaper boy
"SHUT UP!" yelled both
The newspaper boy got shocked and scared. Kasumi and Daichi both laughed so did the others. They let Daichi go.
They all got straight up at the boy but he just ran yelling " I will be back."
"Yeah we'll be waiting." said Kasumi
"So you guys are not a couple." said a boy confused
"NO!" yelled both
"Really." said both
"Guys.' said Kasumi
They all just laughed.
"Ok new story. A boy got whipped by two rivals." said Kasumi sitting on the computer
"Nice." said everyone
They all gathered around Kasumi and worked on the story. Daichi just stood on the side relived all of this was over.
Then Kasumi came toward him and said " Thanks Daichi." with a quick hug.
"Hey whats going on here." said the others
"Oh nothing just thanking him." said Kasumi
"Why not add a kiss to it." said a girl
Daichi just blushed.
" Excuse me I will nevere like this guy in my entire life. I've seen animals smarter than him." said Kasumi
Everyone just left and said ok. Kasumi gave a kidding sign. Daichi didn't do anything but smile.
"It all worked out." thought Daichi
