Chapter 1.

2 AM

“Hello?” A young man by the name of Kim Namjoon asked into the phone.

“H-Hi.” A soft voice answered.

“Who's this?” Namjoon asked feeling annoyed. After all, it was two AM.

“It's Jin...sorry it's so early but something bad came up...” The soft voice replied.

‘‘Jin?! Jin, what's wrong?!” Namjoon's annoyance grew into pure worry.

Silence.

“Answer me! Is this a prank?? Well, if it is, it sure isn't funny!!” Namjoon said, rather loudly.

Namjoon didn't know that he would develop feelings for a beautiful stranger he met at an audition for a dancing club nor did he know that he was supposed to be a rival with Jin's dancing group.

Life often seemed to have different plans than what Kim Namjoon wanted. He never wanted to get close with someone that was supposed to be his arch enemy but hey! Life decided to make him fall in love.

“S-sorry! Bad connection Namjoon. I'll explain it soon. I just need someone to talk to.” Jin said, his phone kept cutting out.

“You're worrying me Seokjin. You know that? Please tell me what's going on.” Namjoon said.

“I...I won't be at the dance practice tomorrow.” Jin said before hanging up.

                            Four weeks before.

“Kim Namjoon?” The speaker asked quickly.

“Yes sir?” Namjoon asked.

"You're supposed to say ‘here’.” The man said with annoyance.

“Sorry sir, I'm here.” Namjoon responded with shame.

“Lee Chaerin, Chaerin Lee?” The speaker asked.

‘‘Here! But I go by CL..’’ The beautiful young woman said.

“Kim Jisoo?” He asked.

“Here.” Jisoo responded.

"Min Yoongi?" The man checked the names off the clipboard.

“Don't-wanna-be HERE.” Yoongi said quickly making everyone laugh.

“Kim Seokjin?” The man looked up.

“He's not here.” CL said.

“Alright well, let's get started.”

“What about the others?” Jisoo asked.

The man sighed.
“This is just the audition. None of you will know if you make it or not, the others will come in later on in the day. Now, I want all of you to go out into the hallways expect for Min Yoongi.”

Yoongi looked up. “Why me?” He asked.

“Because you're the first that I'm going to see dance.” The man said as everyone went out into the hallways.

“Maybe I don't want to be the first one to dance.” Yoongi said. He was starting to feel sassy.

“Well too bad.” The man buttoned his sleeves up as he waited.

“Alrighty. Fine.” Yoongi went up the steps to the stage and began dancing.

The man watched him for some time before smiling and writing his name down on his clipboard. Yoongi noticed this and stopped dancing.
“Why'd you do that?” He asked.

“You're in.” The man told him.

________

“Sorry, I'm late.” A male said, rushing in. His hair was a golden brown blondish colour and his eyes were a warm brown. His outfit was a white hoodie with blue jeans.

“Well, that guy in there is already working with someone.” CL said rather smartly. (She was upset that she wasn't called first.)

“Oh, okay.” Jin smiled and sat down on the bench, right in front of Namjoon.

“You're Kim Seokjin?”  Namjoon asked.

“I prefer to go by Jin, but yes. I am.” He said without looking at Namjoon.

“I'm Kim Namjoon but I like to be called RM.” He said.

“What does RM stand for?” Jin asked, looking straight into Namjoon's eyes. His eyes were a beautiful sparkling brown.

“Real Me. Or Rap Monster.” He smiled at Jin.

“Oh so, you rap?” Jin was getting interested in RM.

“Yeah, I enjoy rapping and dancing. What about you?” RM asked.

“Well, I can't really rap but I can sing and dance.” Jin said.

The two boys talked until they were called to dance.

“So, we all made it?”Lee Jung Suk asked in shock.

“That doesn't make sense....Why did we all make it?” CL asked.

“You all made it because you're going to be divided into two groups for performing.” The man said.

“What's your real name? Is this all a set up?” Some of the people asked.

“Guys, shut it. This is NOT a set up and I can't reveal my real name until after the groups are made, okay?” He said.

“Do we get lunch?” Wendy asked suddenly which made everyone look at her then sigh.

“Let's all go to the cafeteria.” He said and walked to the cafe with his students.

The part of the building that Park Jeong-su (Leeteuk) rented used to be an old elementary school so it had a cafeteria in it. And Leeteuk hired lunch workers to serve food.

“I can't believe this actually has a cafeteria in it.” CL said to her friend Sandra.

“I'm shocked too.” Sandra said getting a yellowish tray.

After they all got there food, they sat down with thier friends and talked.

“So, why did you want to sign up for this?” Namjoon asked.

“Oh well.....I wanted to make new friends and stuff.” Jin said.

‘‘Do you want to trade numbers?” Namjoon asked.

“Sure.” Jin said and gave his phone to Namjoon and Namjoon gave his phone to Jin.

                  Kim Namjoon. (RM)

                     Kim Seokjin. (Jin)

After that they looked at their own phones and then smiled at each other.

                                     Now.

“Hello?” Kim Namjoon asked into the phone.

“H-Hi..” A soft voice answered.

“Who's this?” Namjoon asked feeling annoyed. After all, it was two AM.

“It's Jin...sorry it's so early but something bad came up.” The soft voice replied.

“You're worrying me Seokjin. You know that? Please tell me what's going on.” Namjoon said.

“I....I won't be at the dance practice tomorrow.” Jin said before hanging up.

“Why?! Hello? Jin?!?” Namjoon was filled with worry and stress. After putting his cell phone up, he went into his kitchen and made coffee to wake himself up more.

“Alrighty! Is everyone here?” Leeteuk asked the people.

“Jin, uh, Seokjin isn't here today.” Namjoon told him.

“He's always late or missing.” Leeteuk mumbled to himself before leading his ‘students’ into dancing rooms.

“Okay guys, get into your groups please! We'll be dividing you guys up today.” Leeteuk told them.

“Group one! Which is;

Jisoo.

Namjoon.

Lee Jung Suk.

Rosè.

Joy.

Wendy.

Yoongi.

Taeyang

And Woozi.”

Leeteuk read from the list that he was given.

The members of that group stayed in the room while the other group left.

“Okay, group two!

IU.

Irene.

CL.

SeokJin.

Lisa.

Jiyong

Wendy.

Mina.

And Kai.”

They all left the room.

“Uh, sir? What's the point in splitting us up?” Lee asked.

“We're going to be having a competition between two groups of dancers and the group that wins the competition will get paid and it sends money to their college. It's a part of the club. We told you that the second day that you came..” Leeteuk told him calmly.

“I guess I wasn't here.” Lee Jung Suk mumbled.

“Alright, let's get started!” Leeteuk said and began with simple dance steps in which the ‘class’ would repeat. Those simple dance moves would soon become more difficult as time went on.

“Jesus Christ Jisoo, my legs hurt so bad.” Lisa told Jisoo when the dance classes were finished.
After the classes, the groups could get their stuff from the borrowed lockers.

“Tell me about it.” Jisoo responded, tiredly.

The groups were told the very first day that they weren't allowed to share what they did in classes. If they did, they would be kicked out from the club.

“I'm so tired!!!” Lisa whined on.

“Can you just be quiet?!?! I'm sorry if I sound rude but I am very frustrated right now.” Jisoo said. She tried very hard to control her temper.

“Oh, I'm sorry. What's wrong?” Lisa asked, forgetting what she felt like.

“Leeteuk was tough on me because I couldn't get this one dance-” Jisoo cut herself off and started feeling anxious.

“Why should I tell you anyways?” Jisoo put her hands on her hips and stared at Lisa as if she were some stranger.

“You should tell me because I'm your best friend..” Lisa was taken back from the words Jisoo said.

Jisoo sighed.
“Yeah, you're right. I'm sorry, it's just this dance group.....it's like they try to....I don't know.... breakup friendships? I overheard CL and Sandra arguing earlier.” Jisoo said, concern growing in her voice.

“Now that I think about it, I know what you mean. Let's promise that we'll always be friends regardless of some stupid dance competition okay? I don't want our friendship to be ruined over it.” Lisa said.

“I promise. It's just a competition. Our friendship is way more important.” Jisoo smiled and agreed.

After the girls got their things, they went to go on the bus with the other dance students.
