Flashback~You lie in a bed staring up at the ceiling. The darkness of your room sends shivers down your spine, you were scared of the dark. The very loud and powerful thunderstorm outside, didn't help you very much. You lay stiffly on your bed. Every-time strikes you shudder, and hope it will be over soon. The rain battered at your window as if it wanted to come in, and flood your room. A single tear streaks down your face as you had another flashback, and another of the accident. Trying to keep your breathing steady, as another tear falls down your face.
Somehow 'miraculously' even, you didn't get hit by the truck. You and your family were out in the middle of the road, a tornado was nearby causing all hell to break loose. You had stood a few meters in front of the family car, your parents and older sister were trying to get the car working again. You saw the viciousness of the tornado coming towards you and your family. You called out to them as it was getting closer, they just grunted in response. Suddenly you saw something, something huge had come flying out of the tornado, coming straight towards you. A strange sensation hit you suddenly, and you stepped out of the way. You could feel the swoosh, as a a truck as it barely missed you. There were loud, curdling screams, followed by a huge crash. Sobbing as darkness filled your vision, you heard the faint sounds of sirens in the background. You knew it was the end, the end of your life. You accepted it, but it never came.
Several weeks later you woke up in a hospital, only one scratch that had turned into a scar. It was on your left arm, that swoosh you heard was the truck grazing your arm. They said that the scar was going to be there forever, they cleaned it up, but it would never leave. When you asked about the other members of your family, the people, and the police were silent. They eventually told you that the truck had crashed into them and the family car, leaving little to no escape for them. The police showed you the remains of your family. You gaged at these images as you began to cry.
When you went home, you found that you had quite lot of inheritance money. For a family, that never showed 'affection' to you, they without a second thought gave you so much money. All your family was gone, you had no aunts, grandparents, uncles... no one. The community tried to set you up for adoption, but you refused. Even if they said that it was the law, you turned your back on them, and tried to move on in your life.
You somehow had managed to buy the five painted ladies (those are houses) that were perched at the top of the hill right outside of town. No one had lived there in years. It took some time, but you finally got them redone.
You already graduated from the high school, you were what they called a 'super genius'. You could make anything impossible, possible. You were currently taking a gap year from uni, to heal yourself. The accident had left you permanently scared. You became more Introverted.
*End of Flashback*
You jump out of the bed, nearly falling on the floor. You were now having a full blown panic attack. Crouching down the floor weeping, you wanted it to end, you wanted the pain to stop. Reaching under your bed and grabbing a small box you opened it. Inside was a bunch of news articles about what happened to your family, and some personal info of yourself. Seeing the news articles confirmed that it wasn't a nightmare, and this indeed was real. Looking up quickly you saw your sleeping pills. You eagerly reach out of them, making them spill out on the floor, mixing them up. You grab a handful of them, and hold them close to your mouth. You'd finally be free, from all the pain and suffering. A muffled sob escapes you, as you try to retain yourself. As you were about to take your pills a voice rang out in your mind. "Take care of yourself, kid. 'Cause someone really cares about you."
You immediately drop the pills, and stagger away from them. No. Nonononono. Why couldn't you kill yourself? There was so much more to life than suicide. What about your YouTube subscribers? Internet friends? What about me? What about....
You lay on the ground for about an hour before getting up. Brushing yourself off you glanced at your computer. It was currently turned off, film equipment scattered around. Rubbing your nose gently, you decided to walk over it. You sat down at the computer, turning it on and looking at your notifications. Looking at your most recently played games, you see Undertale and decide to click on it...
