The Shadow WolvesI padded towards Shadow Forest. I knew that the wolves there were dangerous, but that was the whole reason I wanted to go. My brother, Blizzard were my parents favorite son. They loved him more then me, I knew. They never said they did, but I can tell what's a lie and what's the truth. I wanted to kill my brother, to say to my parents that some wolves from Shadow Forest came and killed him. Blizzard was out hunting alone, for it was early in the morning and my father was sick. It would be a perfect opportunity to kill my brother. If my parents went to make sure I wasn't lying, sure enough, they would smell Shadow Wolves, for that was what they were called. When I reached the forest, I sniffed out some Shadow Wolves. Following their strong, stinking even I can say, scent, I started hearing voices up ahead.
"Zapp, I can't believe you scared off the deer! You poop-brained wolf! I can't even imagine what Thunderstorm would say if we don't get a decent meal to eat." a voice snarled. I stepped into the clearing where I scented fresh deer scat, but, as I assumed, the wolf called Zapp scared them. "Who are you?" a large wolf snarled at me.
"My name is Blackclaw. I belong to the Glowing Star Pack. I have come to ask a favor; in return, me as leader and more territory, and, yes, more food." I answered.
"So, one favor after another favor, just for more territory and food? Are we fools?" the wolf growled.
"Trust me, I'm a great leader, just what you've been looking for. I've always wanted to be called 'Soul'. And I've always wanted to get revenge on some wolves I know." I said, realizing that I not only wanted to kill my brother, but the whole pack, including my parents. I wanted so bad to become a pack leader.
"How can we trust you?" the wolf asked.
"Trust me. I'll show you. I'll kill my brother and parents, the rest of the pack is for you to kill; if you accept my offer, of course." I added smugly. The two wolves looked at each other, then gestured for me to follow them.
