The RoseIt was ten o'clock at night on the (somewhat) peaceful planet of Möbius. Everyone had gone to bed, excluding Taylor and her dragon friends. Mystery and Starchaser were awake particularly late on this cool fall night, sitting outside and looking at the stars whom glistened softly against a navy blue sky. The moon contrasted brightly against the sky, illuminating the dark grassy grounds causing dew upon the blades of grass to shine like the stars.
"It sure is pretty outside tonight." Starchaser said after a long moment of comfortable silence, allowing the two of them to admire the softly glistening sky above them and the dim glow of the ground beneath.
"Yeah," Mystery answered simply, sitting up and heaving herself onto her feet. "I should be going to bed. I'll see you in the morning Star."
"Goodnight Mystery!" Starchaser replied jovially as Mystery disappeared into the dragon's and Taylor's shared house. She had already been wearing her pjs, a grey t-shirt and navy blue basketball shorts, ever since she had first went outside an hour ago.
Walking up to her calm quiet room, Mystery hauled herself into her bed, letting the plush softness of both her mattress, pillow, and blankets lull her to sleep like a mother's lullaby to a small child. She let sleep overcome her, and sleep gradually welcomed her with open arms.
"What's that..?" Mystery asked herself quietly and dragged herself out of her warm comfortable bed, a body print being left where she had slept so.
Walking to the window sill, she noticed the gleam of a gorgeous rose sitting on top of the window sill, delicately placed with a white tag wrapped around the stem of the beautiful flower. She picked it up and read the tag with an intrigued curiosity.
It read, "To a gorgeous mobian I wish to have met sooner in my life" ~Anonymous. Mystery's cheeks turned pink reading the message, who could have wrote it? Could it really be her crush?!
Ever since Mystery had become a mobian, she had one specific crush on a bad boy hedgehog that Zircon despised, but who didn't he despise in the first place? That hedgehog, was none other than Sonic's anti, Scourge. Their meeting to her felt like fate, love at first sight since the two had bumped into each other, literally. He had reformed himself quite well to living on möbius as one of the "good guys"... In his terms anyway.
Picking up the rose Mystery smiled as the soft petals danced against the wind ever so slightly, she'd have to find out who had given her the rose in the morning...
