Chapter 1- Godfallen

A long time ago, there were only a few races. Humans, angels, demons, and woodfolk (animal people). The angels, being the most powerful, watched over the world and protected it from war and pain. They were known as a very beautiful, perfect, and powerful race. Each angel could make miracles, and it was rare that two angels had the same magic.
Since angels were so strong magically, they were idolized. a third of the populations worshipped them, a third helped them and in return was watched over, and the rest wanted to be in their company
However, over time, a silent darkness grew. The angels could not detect it, for it was not any one organization or evil... It was jealously in the hearts of men
People started secretly hunting angels down, knowing that if their presence was that magical, the rest of them must be even stronger

At first, it was impossible. The angels being immortals were too strong. But after about 28 years they found their secret weakness. Soon angels were being killed. People got scared. How could their gods die?
But to the hunters, it was justifiable. "They are all powerful, and they don't share their knowledge? This is outrageous. Can't you see we're just being used as pawns for them?"
some people began to listen , but many did not. They still cared about the angels. Then, strangely, some rumors' started being spread
"An angels halo is good luck. It cures all deceases. A angels feather is the softest in the world, and the prettiest. Their golden blood, ichor, blood of the immortals can heal any wound and make someone powerful. That is, if your body is strong enough not to burn to ashes. And I heard that their hearts, made purely out of crystal, are so beautiful it can make a king cry"
People listened. They were convinced that these rumor's were correct. Mortals got a strange hunger in their hearts, begging for this power. The angels earthly friends tried to protect them, but it was all for naught.
After 500 long years.. The craze died down. All that was left out of 2 million angels were 15. They were so scattered across the world, they could never meet each other.
However, stories of their power spread far and wide. They became known as legends, as powerful friends..
And as gods.
It is now the present day. Many many races popped up, most of them hybrids, but none had angel wings or blood in them.
