What's so awesome about Sonic?

Question

Okay, I'm not trying to hate on it. But there are probably more Sonic fans on here than Justin Beiber haters in the world and I don't get it. All I know about Sonic is that it's a video game. Please, someone explain this to me!

The sonic fandom is awesome because it has adventure and you get to fight bad guys and have superpowers and you get to be a mobian and live in mobius
