I guess it could be a possibility, but I doubt it, and I really just don't like the idea. One of the biggest problems with this theory, I think, is the fact that a werewolf bite is probably actually nowhere near as threatening as a Dark Mark. I mean, I could be wrong, but what exactly would make a werewolf bite look different from any other sort of bite? Anyone who immediately assumed that the bite was from a werewolf would probably have to be paranoid (unless there is something See More▼ extremely distinct about a werewolf bite scare that I am unaware of). Secondly, a typical werewolf (Greyback being the notable exception) only transforms during the full moon, and has no conscious thought while in that form. I doubt that Draco would've been able to convince the shopkeeper from Knockturn Alley to cooperate by showing him a bite mark. I could be wrong, but this is just my opinion.
