How do you feel about the "Draco is a werewolf." Theory?

If you haven't heard the theory here's the basics. Some theorize that between The Order of the Phoenix and The Half Blood Prince that Draco was bitten by and turned into a werewolf. This can explain his odd behaviour during the Half Blood Prince. His behaviour can also be explained by the stress of his orders to murder Dumbledore, but pair that with his sickly appearance and his situation looks a lot like Professior Lupin's when he was trying to suppress his transformations in the prisoner of Azkaban. Theroizers further make the point as to why Draco was bitten. It is made known that Vodemort employees the help of an infamous werewolf who takes joy in turning others. That man's name is Fenrir Geryback. He first makes his appearance the night of Dumbledore's death joining Draco and the other's in the astronomy Tower. Draco makes it known that he is very uncomfortable around him. Theorizers believe this is because Voldemort ordered Greyback to bite Draco as punishment for his father's consistent failures. First Lusicus lost one of Voldemorts horxrues in the chamber of secrets and then he failed to procure the prophecy in the order of the Phoenix. We know the Malfoy's pride themselves on their pure blood so tainting Draco's with a werewolf bite would be horrible punishment. Furthermore the mark on Draco's arm that Harry assumes is the dark mark is never actually confirmed to be that (only in the books, in the movie it's shown as the dark mark) this could very well be a werewolf bite he shows to people... it would certainly scare them like the dark mark would. All this evidence is pretty convincing, but Rowling herself addressed the theory and said it wasn't right, but with fantasy worlds there comes a time when not even the writer can control what happens in them. So to you is Draco Malfoy a werewolf?

I guess it could be a possibility, but I doubt it, and I really just don't like the idea. One of the biggest problems with this theory, I think, is the fact that a werewolf bite is probably actually nowhere near as threatening as a Dark Mark. I mean, I could be wrong, but what exactly would make a werewolf bite look different from any other sort of bite? Anyone who immediately assumed that the bite was from a werewolf would probably have to be paranoid (unless there is something See More▼

There were mentions of greyback during his encounter with mr. Borgen in nochtern alley so that is where the theory gets a lot of its evidence from and the threat wouldn't be so much of him turning and attacking Borgen, but more of a reminder of what kind of creatures Vodemort has control of and that he doesn't hesitate in using greyback as pubishment, but I see See More▼

Ah, I get your point, too. I suppose that this theory is pretty plausible, but I personally don't like the idea.

It is. I really like it and it's not unusual for jk riwling to leave aspects of a character out of she didn't think they were pertinent to the story like dumbldore being gay. Even though she says it isn't true to me if kind of is lol. It really makes sense with the story and his character (in the books more so then the movies)

Hm...
Maybe, but JK Rowling wrote the books! She should be able to decide! If she says Draco isn't a werewolf... She knows the characters best, after all...
