What do you do when your in a deep depresson?

Im in a deep depression (for a few years) and i need help cureing it

I have Depression. Find something that distracts you and DON'T start cutting. I cut myself a lot and now every time I do something I 'need' to cut. It's hard to stop and temporary.

well mostly i haven't ben in a deep one... but i did watch the fault in our stars so heres how u deal with it! if u person close to u dies then u must try and not think about them. and if its something elce i would watch a scary movie it gets u creeped out and make u forget hope this helps

when im in depression (which i sometimes am) i talk to myself i cry i think about memorys and the people i love and sometimes the best thing to do besides seeing a doctor or a therapist is sleeping so i take melatonin to help me sleep and i take naps...because when im in my dream world i can be happy escape the sad thing that makes me sad in real life and i just dream of a better place and its even better if you can have lucid dreams i recently had my first lucid dream and things See More▼

glad your feeling better! i have this experience because iget depression all the time because anytime im in my room outside my room my dads almost never seen because hes always working and my mom and my brother are fighting and im forced to hear it all for 6 hours a day

Go see a therapist/doctor. A doctor can prescribe medication (like an anti-depressant) and a therapist can just help you talk things out and see why your depressed. Just tell a parent, they will know what to do.

Spend time with Things you love the most, try forgetting about being Depressed. I'd suggest staying away from Sad songs along with probably happy Songs if your way too Emotional. Remember: There's loads of friendly People on Qfeast who you can talk to, never be afraid to express yourself. If you need to, ask your school's Council team or Someone you trust about how to get over Depression.

Just talk to people you enjoy being around, mainly people who make you laugh! As runningbay said, listen to music! Watch funny TV shows! Also drawing helps you calm down and express yourself! You can listen ti music while drawing too!
