Listen to 2+ songs and make a story out of it!
So how here's the idea work, it's quite simply; Just listen to two or more (2 Recommended) songs and pick on the lyrics and make a short story out of it. (Or possibly relate it to your OCs like sometimes I do.). So put your stories in the comments.
So here's mine: "Coma Baby" by Nicole Dollanganger and "Once like anyone else" by Archive
Story: *Warning: Sad and somewhat mature themes*
"Coma baby, with your sick head." - A mother is singing about her 3 year old son. "The doctors saved you, but you’re still dead." - She can't accept the state her son is. Being asleep all the time, not being able to talk or show emotion and constantly needing to be on a life machine. So in her eyes, he's as good as dead.
"Through your scalp I would like to reach in, so I could pull out the monster you’ve been." - The mother is now referring to the father. When she say 'the monster you've been', she's saying how the father hates their son, thinking it's not worth keeping their son alive anymore. "But you would do anything to destroy the body that they rescued." - Referring to the father again.
"and your skull when it split on the road." - The son was involved on car accident. "You’re just the shell of the boy that you've been." - The son is starting to become more active however due to the Drain damage, he now acts completely differently.
"And you’re dying, I can feel it." - The mother thinks her son is dying but is wrong.
Between songs: - The boy to survives to being a teenager but due to his drain damage, he has severe learning difficulties - The mother can't handle it, so she ends up divorcing the father and leaving the son in his care. - Due to his difficulties, the son often lashes out. And the father often resources to violence to keep his son under control
"Once like Anyone else":
"There's a look on your face I would like to knock out" - The father hates the faces his son often makes. He also blames the son for his wife leaving him, when it in fact his own fault. "Though we won't ever meet I remember your name" - The father only considers the boy to be his son before the accident.
"Then you grew and became like the devil himself" - Talking about how his son can get physical. "Can't believe you were once just like anyone else" - Talking about before the accident.
"Bet you sleep like a child with your thumb in your mouth I could creep up beside put a gun in your mouth Makes me sick when I hear all the shit that you say So much crap coming out it must take you all day" - The father horribly complaining about his son acting like child due his brain damage. "your brain is too slow" - He thinks his son reaction time is too slow
"Now the world needs to see that it's time you should go" - He wants someone else to take the reasonability of taking care of the boy.
