What should I do after I spill liquid on my laptop?
Ok so I was playing with my volleyball when watching Haikyuu because I get really into it and it hit the cup of water on my desk and spilt all over my keyboard and made rly scary noises so I shut it down and cleaned up all the water and then tried turning it on again and it made scary noises and shut down. So I unplugged the charger and tipped out the water in the USB holes etc and left it for a few minutes. Ive taken out the battery now and I can't get any more water out of it. Im scared to put in the battery and see if it works and I dont know how long I should leave it for. I also can't tell my parents. Soo help?;?!;;? please im gonna die

Put it in rice it'll absorb any water left in it
Well try keepong it dry til you can retrieve rice

Is that supposed to be done immediately? Because I can get some rice tomorrow but it might be too late then
