Is my friend "evil' if she doesn't believe in gay rights?

Is my friend "evil' if she doesn't believe in gay rights?

My bff (not the one in the picture) doesn't believe in gay rights. She's AWESOME, but she gets lectured daily. Nothing changes her opinion, and I'm proud of her for standing on her own two feet. To be honest, I'm neutral. I don't think it's bad, I don't think it's good. I JUST don't care. I don't think she's evil. Like gays have their rights to be gay, she can have her rights to not believe in gay rights.

No i think she isn't evil she is standing up for her opinion but she isn't making fun of it daily right?

Yeah. If she's constantly making fun of it, that's a different story.

She's not evil, so much as parochial. I'm a heterosexual Christian. I don't necessarily agree with homosexuality, but those who are a part of the LGBT community have just as many rights under the law as the next heterosexual. I think it's fine for her to disagree with gay rights (her opinion), just as long as she remains civil and doesn't try to offend or harm the LGBT community. Disagreeing is fine. Oppression is not!

I don't think she's evil. I mean, I'm neutral too. TBH, at least she's being honest about her beliefs, but it would be horrible if she openly says that to every person rudely.

No, no. She says she doesn't believe in it if someone asks her. She just doesn't say: "I don't believe in gay rights!"

I personally do not believe in gay rights either, and I had issues because everyone tries to change me into believing in it, but just like her, I won´t budge.
I am not a bad person, and neither is she for having a different opinion. I had fights on the internet and in real life for it but all of them ended well. My beliefs regarding that do not mean I hate a person for who they are, I just disagree in some aspects. That´s about it.

It doesn't make her evil! She just has a different opinion than other people and some people don't like that. If she doesn't believe in it then that is her opinion and she has a right to believe in it. Doesn't make her evil

She doesn't have to believe and @greenkitty7447 that's not correct :/ people marry who they choose to. Gay isn't a sin anymore because Jesus supposedly died on the cross on for our sins. So no matter what sins we do its not bad.

I'm just waiting for Christians to listen to that and stop calling us sins. People don't have to believe in our rights no but they can stop torturing and pestering us because we're not Like them.

People have different points of view. The best thing would be to ignore Gay Rights opinions and try to ignore the subject.
I mean S.atians not gunna rain acid down her throat for that opinion.

Racism is believing all Chinese people are clever, e.g. or that all Latin Americans are hot. Not believing in gay rights doesn't clump homosexual people as a stereotype.

Being homosexual is not a religion. It cannot be classed as a sect just because people believe it is. -_- Some people consider black people as inferior, it doesn't make it true.

Race and sexual orientation are two completely different things! It's not a fair comparison. Gay is not a race. I'd say prejudice is a better word for this. Or bigotry perhaps?

1. I'm Christian too. "Love thy neighbor!!!"
