What do you think of a teenage boy who still plays pretend games?

Example: Is running around the woods with pals pretending to perform military actions/aka..playing soldier
Would you feel this is odd?

*Ahem*
One does not simply silently Role Play.

I would call that LARPing (Live Action Role Playing), and coming from a teenager who LARPs daily, in public, it's fun. It's fun to pretend to be something you aren't (yet). Is it truly better to lose the child's imagination when you become a teenager, and beyond?

To actually answer the question, I think it's fine. They can do what they want, I still play with my nerf guns and little siblings! I still play with legos every now and See More▼

My friend does this.(he's 14) It makes me feel weird cause I feel like I've grown out of that stage in my life and I feel like he should have grown out of that stage by now.

People "grow up" at different rates, some prefer to keep their child-like imagination
