Probably english is easiest. One of the hardest I would say is French.

I believe it depends on your age. I used to speak my native tongue, Tagalog. But, when I arrived here in the United States around the age of six, that's when I began to learn English. I forgot to speak Tagalog, though. I can now speak English pretty well. And around the ages of three, four, five, six, and seven, that's when a language can imprint on you, easily. But as you get older, you lose that imprinting ability and it is harder to learn a new language.

The easiest would probably be English considering it's more widely known
As for the hardest... I'd say learning any new language would be hard, so I guess it just depends on the person
