what should i do???!!!

So today i was in my room and my dad came in and said to come down to the basement, which is where we have our "bad news" talks. My stomach started hurting, because I know if my mom/dad calls us to the basement, something bad happened. My stomach REALLY hurt because i knew it was something very bad cuz my dad's eyes were welled up, red and puffed up with tears. then i went down to the basement. So i sat down. then my big bro, and my twin sis came down to the basement, and they looked worried. they sat down. i said "where's mom?" and my dad started telling us the bad news. he said "your mother is in the hospital. She has cancer. We can go visit her later." i started crying. i didn't want my mom to die. my twin sis looked sad like she was about to cry, but she didn't. my big bro looked disapointed. :( :( :( help me D:

Did you watch the fault in our stars? Hazel is strong. I bet your mom is, too. Try to be like Augustus... Strong, though under bad times. Just act like the old times... Catch your mom up on everything. And know that it's hard for her more than it is for you... What type of cancer is it? I'm praying for you and your family. O:-) hope that helped :)

spend the time she has left together... also make her happy don't get angry or back-chat just be kind and thoughtful... also try and visit her as soon as possible... if she does die and you are struggling to cope come and talk to me cos i know all about coping with someone very close to you dying

Give her loads of support when you visit her, support your family and believe in the thought that she will get better and come back home.

@JollyRancher, it will be okay. I know you are a strong, confident, woman. I am sure your Mom is too. Pray everyday for her. I shall pray for her too. In The Fault of Our Stars, Hazel was strong and confident. Try to stay strong and have friends and family comfort you :)

I am so sorry that something like this happend to you. I don't know if your mother can be helped depending on how serious this cancer is and I just want you to know that cancer is not a death sentance. My mother had breast cancer twice and she survived. I wish you and your mother the best i can give.

It would be nice if someone could say "here, I will sort everything out" but unfortunitly that is not the case. The only advice I can give you is you need to understand that the cancer she has is no ones fault and that it is your mam that is suffering. Remember this because its easy to think "why is this happening to me" or "why does everything happen to me".
I dont know how serious your mothers cancer is but if she can recover, I hope she does. If she does not then try to be See More▼
