They all tell the tales of faes and foes,
Of giants, monsters, and heroes.
How they’ve fought a noble war,
And how some are lost, doomed to no more.
They all tell tales of warriors and knights,
Those not afraid to fight before light, See More▼
Filled with valor, chivalry, and pride,
Both of their worlds then collide.
They all tell tales of kings and queens,
The jesters and fools in between.
All the stories of their defeat,
May even make your own heart bleed.
They all tell tales of the brave and bold,
But sometimes those of greed and gold.
The rich’s sins will then grow old,
And their gold then begins to mold.
They all tell tales of gods above,
The legends, myths, and all their love.
But for once seen and so adored,
They have faded down, to nothing more
They all tell tales of all above,
But let me tell you something, love.
A story you may have never heard,
Is out there somewhere, and it lurks.
In a small village that’s far away,
Where all the kids like to play,
There is an old woman who likes to tell tales;
Of all her successes and all of her fails.
She comes to the town with a basket of goods;
Something to share with the neighborhoods.
Full of sweets and pastries alike,
This lady never does disappoint.
