friendly reminder that not all clowns are scary, it's just that some clowns have to make a persona for themselves and some people make their clown persona happy when they aren't. the human mind detects that! it feels very wrong, like the clown is lying or wearing a mask!
they also invoke uncanny valley bcz the clowns look like they should be human but their features are too bizarre looking. because of their over exaggerated expressions (like a painted smile or scowl), they are See More▼ unable to ever display a natural expression.
this signals the brain that their goals are ambiguous and it feels like you can't trust them.

i've calmed down from last night nd reminded myself of things ray's said :)
still, it's a pretty upsetting thought that the only real friend i've had is gonna leave me behind for a low-key ableist tiktok chick that basically lied to me and was generally kinda rude to me. he's not gonna do that, it's just the thought of it upsets me bcz my thoughts make me feel like he likes her more :/
like, i get that i didn't talk to her for a while but i literally explain that it was bcz i was depressed and rlly busy. she said she understood but then, once i had the smallest overreaction, she proceeded to softblock me nd untag herself from post i made w/ her and got rid of the pfp's she made with my art. completely erased me from her life. not only is that pretty toxic but it's also ableist bcz i told her about how i can get. i told her abt how i have rsd and might have bpd and explained that i might get angry and if i ever did that i was sorry. she told me she'd support me and that she'd never leave me, regardless of my mental illnesses and/or symptoms. but then, when i got the tiniest bit mad and took a defensive tone, she left faster than everyone else did! she literally lied to me!! she did exactly what my ex-friends did + went the extra mile to erase me from her life and she didn't even talk to me about it. even when i told her about my abandonment issues and past events .she didn't say anything, she just up and left. that only made my paranoia worse bcz i thought she would talk shit abt me with ray nd he wouldn't like me. i thought, "oh no his favorite person doesn't like me and now he's gonna leave me behind." . she also made me think i hurt ray (that's why i got defensive), i thought i was a horrible person so i relapsed really bad and when i came back to talk to her she said "i was just trying to think about how everyone would feel, sorry about that i guess" like!! who the ffuck says sorry like that.
i thought we'd be friends but i don't want to associate myself with her ever again. i've been friends w/ someone like her before and i never want to do that again. i just hope ray understands.
